Started fishing southern California channel islands at a young age with my father who was a known big game angler. The biggest species we targeted was mako sharks but also caught yellowtail, grouper, drum, snook, tarpon, white seabass, and halibut. We would also take trips to Sandiego and Baja catching tuna and marlin I learned at a young age how to adapt to different species and gear. I later moved to Florida as a teenager and had a lot of success from the start catching a wider range of species such as grouper, shark, and snook. My passion for sportfishing has run for three decades and chase and fight is an addition.
