A new era was born when John Forbes, the founder of Coastal Fishing, became fascinated with the idea of offering high quality and performance fishing tackle that thousands of avid anglers (like him) can put their faith in and rely on.
John Forbes, an experienced and avid fisherman from Pennsylvania, started fishing since he was young and throughout the years he fished in Cape May N. He started with a 28ft Robalo Walkaround boat. In this time, he gathered valuable fishing knowledge and learned how to satisfy his customers who love fishing and cannot live without it. Many anglers believe that fishing is an expensive sport. However, the guy behind coastal fishing proved that it does not have to be the case. And that’s how Coastal Fishing was Born!
